Jag Nation!
BC Football and DVUSD "NO SCHOOL"
DVUSD does not have school October 7th-11th. The football schedule for that week will be mandatory practice on Wednesday 4:45pm, Thursday 4:45 pm, and Friday 3:00pm for all levels. There are no games during this week. Boys are practicing to prepare for O'Connor the following week which is also a short week where F/S plays Tuesday, JV plays Wednesday, and Varsity plays Thursday.
On Friday, October 11th the team has been invited to attend the ASU vs Utah game. That afternoon all levels will practice from 3:00-5:30pm, a meal will be provided and then players will find their own transportation to the ASU game. There is a sign-up sheet in the team room for free tickets. Players names and emails will be collected. Deadline to sign-up is 4:30, Wednesday October 9th.

Good Afternoon Jag Families,
We are in desperate need of volunteers for all levels!! It takes a village to make these games run smoothly and be able to have concessions and apparel open so everyone can enjoy yummy treats and amazing Jag apparel!! We also still need Chain gang for two JV games (10/16 & 10/31), without chain gang we have NO game... Current positions we have open and need filled for the next 3 games::

You can buy BC Football apparel anytime on the website. When orders are completed, you will be notified for pickup during the week or during the season and will be able to pick up on GameDays. Ordering online will ensure you can get the size, color and design you need before GameDay!

We will also have a Custom Apparel Request Form up this week on the apparel page…so if you don’t see the size you are looking for and/or if you have a design or something special you want done, you can send a request through this custom apparel form.

Hello: my apologies - we had reports that the last email sent displays fine on a laptop but was jumbled on phones. Hopefully this one sends cleanly;
CHANGE: The photo shoot for cardboard cutouts is now May 15th directly after school. Make sure your player has their cleats and anything else they want – gloves, arm sleeve, etc. This is a one-time photo shoot for incoming juniors and seniors.
· If you own a locale business and would like your player place in your establishment, please let me know

Coach Bahr here!! We are entering the third and final week of spring football. We are proud of our players and have really enjoyed the time to work with them all. Our focus has been improving as a team, competition, and FAST/PHYSICAL/FINISH. We thank you for your support and sacrifice through a very busy spring in FOOTBALL CITY!
Three important notes: 1) Text-a-thon 2) Registration 3) Summer Schedule
Text-a-thon: Thanks to everyone for playing a role in the fundraiser and helping us meet the May 8th dead/helpline which is the date to be funded and signed up for summer training. 40 players are ready to roll for the summer!
I'll be visiting with players aiming to meet the May 8th dead/helpline so we can place orders and plan training sessions.
1) Summer weight training form must be signed.
2) A minimum of $250 must be raised through the text-a-thon, submitted via check to Boulder Creek Football for the difference or full registration completed through the school.
*Players new to the program and incoming freshmen will be able to use the fundraiser through the summer.
Registration:
Please go to the booster website and register your player. This helps with communication, is at no cost to you, provides contact information, shirt sizes, etc. The website also has the summer schedule which is live and updated regularly.
Summer Schedule:
It is highly important for players to clear schedules for summer training, plan nutrition/rest/recovery, set goals, and expect mental/physical growth as a team preparing for a difficult 6A schedule. Moving metrics is the focus!

Hello! We have so much information to share with you. Here we go...
CHANGE: The photo shoot for cardboard cutouts is now May 15th directly after school. Make sure your player has their cleats and anything else they want – gloves, arm sleeve, etc. This is a one-time photo shoot for incoming juniors and seniors.

Boulder Creek Jaguar Football Update 4/5/24:

Thanks again to everyone for your time, effort, and energy related to all the football events taking place. We are very excited for the upcoming season and are blessed to be working with amazing student-athletes.
This spring is the most important in the history of Boulder Creek Football. With every social media post, email, conversation, event, lift, on field time, and meeting we are on a mission to communicate the culture of the football program at BC. Boulder Creek Football invites all stakeholders in Football City to play a positive role in the program. THE TIME IS NOW!!
Points of emphasis this spring!
#1 GROW THE ROSTER: please join us in sharing BC Football with our community, feeder schools, current roster, and everyone you come in contact with. Our fall 2024 freshmen is a focus and our goal is 50+ players.
#2 Springball 2024 W.I.N. the Day!: this is our first opportunity to be in a true practice setting with our entire roster. Please ensure all players are at the practices and events.
#3 FAST START to Summer 2024: It is vital that every player is aware of the summer program and that it begins on May 20th.

Shoe Drive – donate all of your old shoes (any shoe type). Send the shoes with your player in a plastic bag. The collection is in the Team Room. We need to collect 2,500 pairs! Ends May 7th.
